Description

Captains flat is a small town about a 45 minute drive away from Queanbeyan, NSW.

Overlooking the town is the Lake George Mine, which was closed in 1962. Most of the old buildings are inaccessible and falling apart, but they still make great photos.

There's also a railway line running through the mine, and some old equipment lying around.

The entrance to the mine has been barricaded.
